I did get to see the transition area and have a bright towel, which really helped :) Plus it was a small race, so there weren't TOO much bikes to have to search through.Gretchen Braunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07790068777611696356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-298679531196459259.post-45032641505742198092018-08-05T23:04:58.293-07:002018-08-05T23:04:58.293-07:00Thats a great post thanks for sharing with us.

You will kick butt, don't worry about the swim, I hardly ever swim over the distance I need to for a race- you will be fine :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11209868276729496630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-298679531196459259.post-44385296235529025972018-08-01T09:23:48.893-07:002018-08-01T09:23:48.893-07:00I've only done one triathlon so I'm no pro...I've only done one triathlon so I'm no pro, but some advice from noob to noob: if they have a prerace meeting the day before, definitely go to get an idea of how the transition area will look. Also use a bright colored towel in your transition area to make finding your bike easier! Another piece of advice I received was to put your helmet on first thing when you get to the first transition because there's usually a rule where you must have your helmet on and buckled at all times while on the bike so you don't want to risk leaving the transition area without it!

Good luck!!Julienoreply@blogger.com
