Wednesday Reviews : Empty Products #2

Hi everyone!

Today I'll be doing another review of products that I've used up..AKA my trash is getting full.  If you want to see my first post in this series, check it out here! I'll also be joining Jess's first Try This Thursday linkup (I'll be talking about a bunch of products that I've tried, so hopefully it works??)  as well as Amanda for Thinking Out Loud!

P.S. It's your last day to enter my giveway for a free facial!!  All you have to do is comment on last Friday's post and I'll choose a winner tonight at midnight!

Makeup

L'Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray : best setting spray ever.  The mist is really fine, and it holds my makeup all day (even in the humidity and heat).  It also makes my skin look dewy and glowy without looking greasy.  Amazing!

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked : perfect everyday lipstick.  Slight rosy color and really moisturizing.  I love the packaging as well- really sleek and modern.
Benefit Roller Lash : great mascara that curls your lashes.  Didn't offer too much volume or length, but perfect for every day.  This is a sample size I got for free (online gift with purchase) from Sephora.

Bare Minerals BB Cream Eyeshadow in Blushing Pink : This was my everyday cream shadow.  I used this as a base for other shadows as well and loved it!  Over time, I got tired of the pink color though.  You can see it in my everyday makeup post here!

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob : I absolutely love this lip liner  It's a perfect natural color, and I've used it on its own as well as a base for lipgloss or lipstick. I also love how it twists up rather than having to sharpen it.

Covergirl Clump Crusher Extensions : My favorite drug store mascara is the original clump crusher.  I didn't notice any difference between the original and the extensions version, but this was also great.

Body | Hair Products

Tone Oil Infusion Body Wash : This body wash smells SO good, and I loved how soft it left my skin.  I felt like I was at a spa in Morocco or something..amazing!

L'Oreal Ever Strong Thickening Shampoo: I didn't really notice any difference in my hair from using it, and I wasn't a fan of the scent.  I prefer the other scents in this line.

Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo (sample size): One of these is from a Pop Sugar Must Have box.  I love this dry shampoo and use it all the time!  I like having a small can to carry in my purse or take the gym, but I go through it way too quickly to use this for every day!

Redken Diamond Oil Deep Facets (sample size): This deep conditioner was pretty good, but nothing special.  The full size is really expensive, so I won't repurchase.

Redken All Soft Argan Oil: I think this may have been a sample size, but I got this so long ago that I forget!  It took me a while to get through, and I really liked using it on damp hair to keep the frizz down.  It smells great as well!

Face Products

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser : My everyday face wash.  Really gentle and simple for sensitive skin!  I switch between the foaming and hydrating formulas.

CeraVe PM Moisturizer : Another simple product.  My skin doesn't do well with lots of ingredients and products, so I keep it simple with these two!

Clean and Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer : I used to love this moisturizer, but eventually realized that all the ingredients and fragrance was irritating my skin, so this will be my last time getting this.  I love the smell and the texture though!

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish (sample size) : I got this as a sample a while ago, and loved how fine the granules are.  I've moved to using chemical exfoliators, so I won't buy this again, but loved trying it!

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Fight and Fade GelI used this as a spot treatment and loved how it worked.  I'm trying to use up a jar of tea tree oil I've had for a while, but will definitely get this again!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel (sample size) : Another sample that I got.  I really liked this gel and would like to try a full size version when I need more morning moisturizer!

  1. Great reviews! I love the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer... I use that as well. One of my favorite face products is the charcoal 1-minute face mask by Biore. Definitely helps cleanse my pores and makes my skin feel tighter and less greasy. Highly recommend :) Thanks for sharing!!

    1. That's very important!! I've gotten rid of face products if I don't like the smell, and keep buying stuff just if I like it!
